Bylaws and Financials

The District remains true to our guiding bylaws and the mission that decreed our formation over 50 years ago.

As it currently operates, the District has two financial funds: the General Fund and the Enterprise Fund. General Fund revenue is obtained through property and specific ownership taxes (motor vehicle) that are collected by and distributed from Boulder, Larimer, and Weld counties. The property tax is calculated from a defined mill levy. Most of the revenue received for the Enterprise Fund is obtained through fees assessed and collected from members of the District’s Augmentation Program.
